Building a Foundation Together

Charitable giving helps accomplish our mission of patient care, research, education and community service at Emory University Hospital, Emory Crawford Long Hospital and Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital. These investments have made Emory Hospitals an enabling platform for bringing research and education together to provide outstanding patient care.

We are proud of our connection to the communities we serve. It is this link, and our translational research and patient care, that distinguishes us from other community hospitals. Your investment helps strengthen heath care not only in the Southeast, but also on a national level where Emory Hospitals are positioned as leaders in research, education and patient care. Informed by the brainpower of a major research university, we bring the latest technology, the deepest knowledge and the highest level of skill to the bedside. Patients and families know they have chosen caregivers they can trust.

Emory Hospitals are able to accomplish great things because of contributions from friends like you. We are grateful for your encouragement and hope you will support our talented doctors, nurses and educators whose work reaches far beyond the walls of our hospitals.

Volunteering at Emory Healthcare

At Emory University Hospital, Emory Crawford Long Hospital and Wesley Woods Center, volunteers support our gift shop and admissions department at each facility, visit patient rooms with book carts, provide visitor support in intensive care units and surgery waiting rooms, and raise funds for everything from equipment to scholarships. Teens 15-18 years old may participate in the Teen Volunteer Program during the summer.

If you prefer not to volunteer in a hospital, we also have volunteer opportunities at the Emory Center for Rehabilitation Medicine and Emory Winship Cancer Institute.
