Academic and Community Oncologists Partner for Clinical Trials Statewide
The first statewide cancer clinical trial in Georgia is now available for early stage breast cancer patients. Coordinated by the Georgia Center for Oncology Research and Education (Georgia CORE) and the Emory Winship Cancer Institute, the study is the first of its kind in Georgia in which an investigator from an academic medical facility will collaborate with community-based oncology practices and other academic centers to enroll patients in a clinical trial.
