STATEMENT OF RESEARCH FOCUS

My research focus is in the area of hearing and the vestibular system. My basic science research has been a histological evaluation of peripheral auditory damage after ototoxic and high intensity noise exposure. More recently the interest has turned to other clinical issues including sudden hearing loss, Meniere's disease and pulsatile tinnitus.
