Emory Family Medicine celebrates 15 years in the Emory family

"Emory has Family Medicine?"

Emory Family Medicine has been a well-kept secret among Emory staff and faculty for 15 years, but now the word is out.

What is Family Medicine?

Family medicine is a medical specialty that provides continuing, comprehensive health care for individuals and families. It is a specialty that integrates the biological, clinical and behavioral sciences. The scope of family medicine encompasses all ages, both sexes, each organ system and every disease entity.

And now, Emory Family Medicine wants to be your partner in wellness at Emory.

In the course of a day, EHC staff are involved in the provision of excellent, quality health care at Emory, but may ignore their own health needs. For example, do you remember when your last complete physical was or when your immunizations were last updated? Whether you answered "yes" or "no," Emory Family Medicine can help you. In fact, Emory Family Medicine invites all Emory staff to join its practice and experience the Emory Family Medicine difference.

Emory Family Medicine:

  • provides care to infants, children, pregnant women, adults and the elderly
  • has same-day and next-day appointments available
  • provides a medical home for you and your family
  • admits and takes care of you during your hospital stay at Emory University Hospital Midtown (EUHM)
