The Adult Inpatient Psychiatry Service offers expert diagnosis and treatment for adults ages 18 and older with mood disorders such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, thought disorders including Schizophrenia, and substance use disorders requiring medically supervised detoxification from alcohol, benzodiazipines, and opiates. Our location within a university hospital setting affords us the opportunity to provide psychiatric treatment to individuals having co-existing medical conditions.
