In all of Emory Wesley Woods facilities, volunteers lead efforts to strengthen the Wesley Woods community and enhance the lives of our residents and patients through recreational activities, visiting with patients, assisting with activities, providing general office assistance and work with special events.

Because Wesley Woods has both residents and patients, volunteers have unusual options for contributing that might not be available at other healthcare facilities. Please reference the following link to view a list of current volunteer opportunties at Emory Wesley Woods. If you have a volunteer idea not listed below, contact Katrina Fickling at 404-728-6382.

• Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer Groups (community service): In addition to the individuals who volunteer, church groups, community groups and corporate groups volunteer their services on the campus. The Junior League, for example, sponsors residence activities and provides services all over the campus. Local companies send in volunteers to assist with campus beautification projects.

VolunTeen Program: During the summer months, our VOLUNTEEN program welcomes youth, 15 to 18 years of age; still in high school who wish to learn and make a contribution to our patients and residents. Most continue to volunteer through out the year. High school students or parents/guardians may submit interest for the summer program yearly mid February to Mid March.
