Amanda Williamson, M.Ed., ATC

Amanda WilliamsonAmanda joined the Emory Sports Medicine team in April 2012 and is the clinical athletic trainer for Dr. Jeff Webb, assisting him with the full operation of his clinic. Amanda came to Emory Sports Medicine from North Georgia College and State University.

A native of Alpharetta, Georgia, Amanda graduated from North Georgia College and State University, majoring in Athletic Training. During her time at North Georgia, Amanda served as a student athletic trainer assisting with men’s soccer, baseball, women’s basketball and men’s and women’s tennis. After undergrad, Amanda went to Troy University for a year as a Graduate Assistant. She worked with the Rodeo team and the men’s and women’s cheer and dance teams. Amanda then returned to North Georgia to work full time and finish her Master’s degree in Physical Education. Amanda covered women’s soccer, baseball, softball and men’s and women’s tennis. She also held the positions of insurance coordinator for the athletic department, clinical instructor and teacher in the athletic training education program.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys playing or coaching softball, riding horses, playing golf and volunteering at local hippotherapy centers.
