Lori Vazquez

Lori VazquezLori Vazquez has been the clinical athletic trainer to Dr. R. Amadeus Mason for the past year. She has recently moved to a position where she can support the entire sports medicine team assisting with clinical operations including patient evaluations, concussion evaluations, musculoskeletal ultrasound, PRP and Stem Cell Procedures. Lori comes to Emory with almost 20 years of athletic training experience. She comes to us from Honolulu, Hawaii where she worked at a local high school and for the US Army.

Ms. Vazquez received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, and her Master of Science degree from Eastern Kentucky University. While at EKU she served as a graduate assistant for track and field.

During her career she has worked with large sporting events such as the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games, the World Special Olympics, and has over 10 years of experience working as the Head Athletic Trainer at North Carolina Central University. While working at NCCU she had a professional working relationship with Duke Sports Medicine physicians and staff.

Lori resides in Atlanta with her dog Jasmine and enjoys hiking, the beach, trail running, sports and traveling.
