Rachel Zgrabik, MS, ATC

Rachel ZgrabikRachel Zgrabik joined the Emory Sports Medicine team in May of 2012. She served as the clinical athletic trainer working with Dr. Brandon Mines for the last year, assisting him with the full operation of his clinic. Rachel has recently been promoted to Clinic Lead for Emory Orthopaedics where she supports our General Orthopaedics, Hand & Upper Extremity, Joint Replacement, Pediatric Orthopaedics and Podiatry clinics.

Prior to Emory, Rachel worked at Georgia State University as an assistant athletic trainer for the women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s tennis and the cheer teams. Rachel received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University, majoring in kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training and minoring in nutrition. During her time at LSU Rachel served as the student athletic trainer to the gymnastics, football and volleyball teams. After graduating from LSU, Rachel received her masters degree in exercise science from the University of Georgia. While at UGA, Rachel worked as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the softball team. Rachel is originally from Roswell, Georgia and loves college football, running, dogs and the beach.
