Getting a flu vaccine is more critical than ever. That’s why Emory Healthcare encourages you and your family to get the flu vaccine.

The flu virus is very contagious and can sometimes cause serious complications, like pneumonia. Last season, at least 380,000 people were hospitalized in the United States. Increased vaccination coverage not only protects you, it also helps reduce the burden on our healthcare system.

Get Vaccinated

  • If you currently have an appointment scheduled with your Emory Healthcare provider, remember to ask for your flu vaccination at your next appointment.
  • Schedule with an Emory Healthcare Network urgent care or retail partner.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), getting vaccinated yourself may also protect people around you, including those who are more vulnerable to serious flu illness, like babies and young children, older people, and people with certain chronic health conditions.
