Rheumatology Care at Emory

Specialized Care, Comprehensive Treatments, and Advanced Research for Rheumatic Diseases

About Us

A rheumatologist is a doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating diseases that affect your joints, muscles, and bones. These conditions are quite common and affect millions of Americans. They can cause pain, swelling, stiffness, and sometimes even damage to your organs. We use a variety of tests and assessments to identify a wide range of conditions including arthritis, gout, lupus and other autoimmune diseases and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.

Our mission is to provide exceptional, patient-centered care while advancing the understanding and treatment of rheumatic conditions through research and education. We offer continuous care for our patients both in the clinic and in our Emory hospitals, ensuring your care is tailored to your needs at every stage of treatment.
