  • We performed the world’s first minimally invasive, off-pump, triple-bypass heart surgery
  • Our heart transplant program consistently ranks among the nation’s best. Our outcomes meet or exceed the national average.
  • We were the first in Georgia to offer a minimally invasive heart valve procedure called transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Since then, we have used TAVR to treat more people with aortic stenosis than any other health system in the state. 
  • We’re home to the only clinic in Georgia dedicated to treating hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
  • We pioneered robotic heart surgery and have performed more robotic mitral valve surgeries than any other center in the world.
Heart Transplant Surgery
We are a national leader in heart transplant and home to Georgia’s first heart transplant program. We’ve performed more than 1,000 heart transplants – more than any other provider in Georgia.
