Transforming the Lives of Our Nation's Heroes by Healing Invisible Wounds

Emory Healthcare Veterans Program

The Emory Healthcare Veterans Program treats conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), military sexual trauma, substance use disorder, anxiety and depression. Treatment is confidential and provided at no cost to eligible post-9/11 veterans and service members living anywhere in the United States regardless of discharge status, deployment history, or length of service. Our two-week, evidence-based program is offered in person at our clinic in Atlanta, Georgia or via telehealth in participating states.

You don't have to live your life struggling with haunting memories, sleepless nights, panic attacks, or similar symptoms – challenges that can ruin your life and destroy your most valued relationships. Whatever you're going through, you are not alone. In fact, an estimated one in three post-9/11 veterans and service members are affected by invisible wounds.

If you or someone you love is affected by the invisible wounds, we are here to help. As a veteran or service member, you deserve to have access to care and services that can help you heal mentally and physically. We're committed to doing our part to meet this need and to provide the best possible care and support when you turn to us. We'll treat you and your family with respect, dignity, and compassion.

Our program is available to eligible post-9/11 veterans and service members affected by invisible wounds, regardless of location, discharge status, deployment history, or length of service. All care, travel, and accommodations are arranged for and provided at no cost to participants, including pick-up from the airport upon arrival and transportation to and from the hotel and to all appointments and activities."

The Warrior Care Network

Wounded Warrior Project® and Warrior Care Network® offer highly effective accelerated brain health programs to veterans and service members who seek healing from the disruptive symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental health concerns.

The world-renowned network is led by teams of experts in veteran brain health at Emory Healthcare Veterans Program, Home Base (Massachusetts General Hospital), Operation Mend (UCLA Health), and The Road Home Program (RUSH).

Since 2015, more than 5,000 participants have completed the program that includes innovative clinical treatment, collaborative wellness workshops and peer-to-peer support, all to realize lasting healing significantly faster than conventional approaches.

Participants attend as part of small groups in completely confidential and individualized one- to three-week programs hosted within comfortable and inviting meeting spaces. Programs are of no cost to participants because of the investment by Wounded Warrior Project and generous donors who support innovative care for mental and brain health.

More than 90% of participants have successfully completed their program, and more than 95% would recommend Warrior Care Network to their peers.
