The compassionate and experienced urogynecologists at Emory Healthcare are here to help you find answers and get relief. Our team diagnoses and treats many conditions, including:

  • Pelvic organ prolapse
  • Fecal incontinence
  • Female sex dysfunction
  • Postpartum pelvic health

We all have our interests and our own goals. That’s why we take your own needs and wants, medical history and lifestyle into account when developing your care plan. We’ll spend time getting to know you and what you want from treatment. We’ll review your medical records and perform an extensive physical exam.

Then, we’ll recommend diagnostic tests that help us get a clear picture of what’s going on. Once we have all these pieces – your goals, medical history, test results and more – will we put together a plan that’s tailored to you.

Diagnostic tests may include:

  • Urodynamics
  • Cystoscopy
  • Endoanal ultrasound
  • Medical imaging (x-ray, pelvic ultrasound, MRI, etc.)

We offer minimally invasive and office-based procedures to help you reach your goals. We’ll discuss which of the following are best suited for you:

  • Cystoscopy
  • Botox therapy
  • Urethral injections
  • Sacral nerve stimulation
  • Minimally-invasive gynecological surgery

We may also refer you to pelvic floor physical therapy or other specialists in pelvic disorders to optimize your treatment plan.
