Birth Place Services

The Birth Place at Emory Johns Creek Hospital has been designed with family-centered care in mind. We are committed to providing you with the very best of care in the most comfortable of settings. Some of the things we’re most proud of at the Birth Place:

  • All private rooms with large Labor & Delivery suites, designed to make your birth experience comfortable.
    • You are welcome to bring music, twinkle lights, flameless candles, a birthing ball, or other accessories to create a personalized birthing experience. Please do not bring siblings, real candles, incense, live animals, or alcoholic beverages.
  • Suites are furnished with sleeping/lounging areas for partners or coaches, WiFi, and flat-screen televisions.
  • In-house and always available Anesthesiologists and OB physicians.
  • Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with board-certified Neonatologists on staff and a family sleepover room. Parents can get some rest or simulate what life will be like with the baby at home, with the peace of mind of having NICU nurses close by to assist or advise if needed.
  • On-call Certified Lactation Consultants are available seven days a week, to help new moms successfully breastfeed and/or provide feeding tips.
  • Overnight visitation and accommodations are available in our Mother & Baby unit.
