Location Search Page Template

Developer Notes

  • Location Search Page Template, as the name suggests, is the template on which Locations (location search) is based on.
  • It is located here - /sitecore/templates/Project/EH/Emory/Location/Location Search.
  • It inherits the Page template which adds all the required metadata fields to it.
  • Fields added in this template (fields have been named according to their usage and hence not adding definitions to the ones which are self-explanatory)-
    • Field Section - Search Page Labels - these fields have been added to make the text on the search page Sitecore editable.
      • Filter Results Text 
      • Search Label 
      • Use My Location Text 
      • Show All Results Text 
      • Show Map Text 
      • Heading 
      • Hide Map Text
      • No Geolocation Message - this field data is displayed when geolocation access is denied by the user.
      • No Results Message - this field data is displayed in case of 0 search results.
    • Field Section - Search Facets
      • Care Type List - droplink field to select the Care Type data-sources, please do not change unless a new data source item list is created
      • Specialty Care List - droplink field to select the Specialty Care data-sources, please do not change unless a new data source item list is created
      • Care Type Label.
      • Specialty Care Label
    • Field Section - Search Settings 
      • Default Coordinates - single line text field to add coordinates which will be used as a reference on first-time page load. Currently, set to Atlanta.

Content Author Notes

The location search page allows the user to search various locations on the same page.

1.  This page can be added through the content editor

2.  The page is driven off data found below the location search page, this data can be edited from the content editor

3.  The location search page will then display this data and allow the user to search for locations
