Emory Healthcare, part of Emory University, is Georgia's most comprehensive academic health system. We are made up of 11 hospitals, the Emory Clinic, and 147 outpatient locations throughout Metro Atlanta and beyond.
The Magnet® Recognition Program has identified four of our hospitals and the Emory Clinic for nursing excellence, quality patient care, and innovations in professional nursing practice. Magnet recognition means the organization sets the “gold standard” for nursing care. All Emory hospitals are currently on the path to becoming Magnet-recognized
Emory Healthcare is also a place to learn. We are part of the Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center, where health science students learn from the best. Doctors, nurses, researchers, and public officials from Emory University School of Medicine, Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing, Rollins School of Public Health, Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University, and Emory National Primate Research Center training at Emory Healthcare.
We work hard to ensure that people feel like they belong. Employees can find support and network with people who share the same characteristics or life experiences through our employee resource groups. We have also been recognized by the Human Rights Campaign Health Equality Index for our commitment to LGBTQ+ communities.
